Story-firstproductionstudio

Monomyth takes its name from the idea that stories, across cultures and time, follow a shared structure. A concept explored by Joseph Campbell in his work on myth and narrative.

Long before cameras or screens, people gathered in small groups and told stories to each other. Spoken, remembered, passed on. The tools have changed. The instinct has not.

Today those same stories move through cameras, screens and immersive technologies. But the fire is still there. The circle is still there. Someone still has to decide what gets told, and how.

We have been doing that work for over a decade.

We have seen what happens when that decision gets made too late. When the format comes first and the story has to fit inside it. When the brief becomes the ceiling instead of the floor. Monomyth was built for the opposite of that.

Every project starts from the story. Not the deliverable, not the platform, not the timeline. The story. From there, everything else is a choice made in service of it.

We stay close to the work. From the first conversation to the last frame, the same eyes, the same hands, the same commitment to what the work needs to become.
